Blame me for being inconsistent in updating this blog, can't agree more, but I've been busy finishing my undergrad thesis and preparing for the thesis defence and comprehensive exam these past 3 months. Now that (thank God) I've passed those things, I'll try to be more consistent in posting things here.
This post is regarding my last visit to the newly opened coffee shop in the south area of Jogjakarta, Tirtodipuran, namely (RUANG SEDUH JOGJA). This place is originated from Jakarta, they had their first store in Kemang (knew this from one tv show last weekend)
Now I'll go to what I have on my few days ago visit to this place.
Entering the place, I suddenly greeted by the baristas by a warm and polite welcome because they didn't shout out like some other Restaurants out there LOL.
Just after that, one of the barista asked me what I would like to have. He explained to me that there are two kind of coffee that they serve, Milk-Based Coffee and Manual-Brew Coffee. The difference between those two is the milk-based will have milk incorporated to the drink and the other one is pure manually brewed coffee. As a person who don't really get along with pure coffee, I decided to have the milk-based one, Latté to be exact.
ALMOST FORGET! What makes this place unique is we can learn to prepare our coffee, whatever you choose. The baristas will teach you how to pour the water, froth, and some other things related to preparing the coffee happily. They asked me to make one but I was too lazy to do, so I decided to let the best to do the job LOL.
For me, this place is the first most Instagenic coffee shop in Jogja. Everything is so simple and bright and white and monochromatic and I like it. White almost everything starting from wall to the chairs and coffee equipment, table glued to the wall, as I said before the place is not too big which good to enhance the "intimacy" in our talk. Everything is so good in this place, have no hesitation to visit this place again.
Done talking about the place, now I'm gonna talk about the coffee. I personally not a hard-core coffee drinker, I prefer "fake" coffee. By fake I mean creamy, but still got the aroma and not too bitter. A little bit of sugar is good as well.
Unfortunately the latte that I ordered in this place is not as I expected. The consistency is too thin and no creamy at all. But the aroma and bitterness is perfect because the aroma is not overwhelming and the bitterness is somehow not punching right in my face.
And for the price, this place is somehow affordable. Beating my expectation. I thought that they will charge us around Rp 35.000 to Rp 50.000 for each cup but it's a BIG mistake. The price in this place is amazingly affordable referring to the nice place, warm-welcoming baristas, and unique features. They charge us around Rp 25.000 up to Rp 30.000 (if I'm not mistaken. Because my latté and friends' cappuccino was Rp 30.000 for each cup).
Too bad they don't serve any snacks yet. Perhaps in the future they will have snacks at least muffin or sliced brownie or even freshly baked pastries.

Finally I'm done blabbering! But don't ask me to stop, yes.
Anyway, suppose you have something in mind to be told to me about this post, please don't hesitate to leave a comment down there.
THANKS! :)
